An introduction and history of Umar Mosque

About

Umar Mosque, formerly known as Islamic Scotstoun Centre, was first established in 2007 with the aim to serve and provide a facility for a Mosque in order to meet the needs of newly arrived Muslim communities from all over the world. The centre is located in Scotstoun and neighbours areas such as Whiteinch, Jordanhill, Knightswood, Yorker and Clydebank. The centre’s most inspiring value is its Multi-denominational position and representing Muslims from many countries, backgrounds and diverse cultures.
